POCO Launches the Game-Changing POCO C55 Smartphone in India

POCO, one of India’s leading consumer technology brands, has expanded its C-series portfolio with the launch of the POCO C55 smartphone. This new device takes the legacy of the C-series ahead and delivers the best performance and experience to consumers.

The smartphone also offers a no-compromise video experience with 1080p @ 30fps & 720p @ 30fps. Further, it comes with a wide range of innovative photography and videography features and modes, allowing users to capture each and every moment with precision and clarity.

Battery Life

Built to handle extensive gaming and heavy daily tasks, POCO C55 packs a massive 5000mAh battery that provides sufficient juice to take users through the day easily. OS and UI

POCO C55 runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top, which is a refreshing change for budget smartphones. MIUI 13 comes with an array of customization options, including animated wallpapers, themes, and font support. It also features Ultra Battery Saver and Power Saving modes to increase the battery life by limiting the app usage and reducing the device’s performance.

The POCO C55 also features a “Cleaner” app that helps in maintaining the device’s performance by freeing up storage and memory. The app also enables users to clean up junk files and duplicate photos, among other things. The app’s UI is straightforward and user-friendly, making it easy to use for everyone.

Additionally, MIUI 13 comes with built-in app lock and privacy protection features to keep the user’s data and information secure. The software also supports various gesture controls and quick settings to help users navigate the device more efficiently.

Price and Availability

The POCO C55 is available in 3 exciting colors – Forest Green, Cool Blue, and Power Black – and will be available on Flipkart starting 28 February in 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB at INR 9,499 and INR 10,999 respectively. POCO has also introduced an INR 500 first-day flat discount on the 4GB+64GB variant, making this a sweet deal for consumers. Along with this, they have announced bank offers of INR 500 and INR 1000 on 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants, respectively, for consumers using SBI, HDFC, and ICICI debit or credit cards, taking the net effective price for the first day to INR 8499 and INR 9999.

Final Words

With a powerful processor, 50MP dual camera first in the C-series, and a massive battery, the POCO C55 provides a rarely seen value-for-money offering in its category. POCO has taken a leap with the POCO C55 as it is a perfect combination of performance and affordable pricing. The new POCO C55 takes the experience to a whole new level and is sure to disrupt the market.
