Micromax IN NOTE 1 got its November OTA update with some interesting changes and fixes.

Micromax IN NOTE 1 was launched recently from Micromax after being Dormant for a long time. This smartphone brand emerged as a native brand after the India China border dispute and since then Micromax got its stimulus and they started to capitalise the market by launching several smartphones in the budget segment in India which is the most popular in the Indian smartphone market.

They launched the Micromax IN note 1 and Micromax in 1b in India recently and to be honest I was not expecting these phones from Micromax in the first attempt. We would have been more than satisfied if it has some decent specs and not the most competitive spec sheet and pricing that their Chinese counterparts were offering but boy did they nailed it. Both these phones are priced great and they both offer great specs at the competitive pricing and I find it to be great strategy by Micromax.

When reviewers got the unit and they started using it, the most obvious concern was the software user experience and most of the people loved it because it was running stock Android 10 with some tweaks and necessities added without disturbing the UI. But like any other software skin, these phones had some bugs and needed some camera improvements.

Micromax listened to the reviewers and users who got it and released the update for Micromax In note 1 with so many bugs fixes and camera improvements and the November security patch. This update is approximately 137 MB in size and it fixes the multi-touch issue in this phone as well as the carrier aggregation issue.

Here’s the complete changelog of this update:

-> Updated android security patch to 11-2020

-> Carrier Aggregation improved.

-> Camera improvements.

-> Multi touch improved.

-> General bug fixes.
