Amidst the pandemic, almost all the businesses are at loss and only a few are still thriving in the current situation. We have already discussed the video calling apps like zoom and Google also made it’s Google meet app free for everyone.

Jio which is a telecommunications giant in India and it is also trying to enter the video conferencing business. With the increasing lockdown in India and people moving towards group video conferencing for education for staff meetings and others are increasing as well.
Jio has a vast user base which is around 38crores approximately. With the already-built user base Jio is also bringing its own group video conferencing app and service which they claim is easy to use and also secure enough to protect your privacy.
The app is in its last beta stages and it will be available soon on the google play store.

Simple interface
As a free user, call up to 5 people.
High-quality video and voice Experience best-in-class High Definition* video quality while conducting your meetings.
Adaptive streaming
We ensure that your call does not drop even when you are on the move and are passing by a low data network zone. The call is automatically downgraded to lower quality.
Groups calls
Create groups to call your favourite users with a single click.
Group chat
Exchange chat messages during the conference.
Host controls
The call host can control the participants’ audio, video feeds using host controls (individual and group controls). A host can also selectively disconnect participants or end the entire meeting.
Audio/Video mode
Answer calls in audio/video mode. You can also toggle between audio and video mode when inside a call.
Conference History
View and repeat calls (audio and video mode) from conference history. You can also join calls that are currently In Progress.
Corporate user features
Business users can call up to 25 people. But Jio says they will allow business calls up to 100 members.
Share conference link with others (via email, SMS or other messaging apps)
Call pre-registered video conference (VC) systems
Join a conference without registering or logging in (using mobile apps or Chrome browser) • Safe and secure – All meetings are PIN protected.
