Xiaomi recently revealed their own custom Android skin which is MIUI 12 which is an upgrade over MIUI 11 in a lot of ways. It brings new design animations, enhances security brings New AOD(always on display)styles, new icon animations, new super Wallpapers, floating windows, Xiaomi health, AI call assistant and more. The update was in beta testing a couple of months ago and now Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 12 based on Android 10 for users in china first and then the users for the global market.
Redmi note 9 was launched a few months ago and it was a good midrange budget device. It is powered by Mediatek Helio G85 and 5020mAh battery and 48MP AI Quad camera.
Redmi note series is one of the most popular series from Xiaomi and this series has the most number of users and it is also the most loved series too.
The updated version is V12.0.1.0.QJOCNXM is rolling out to users via Stable OTA mode. Do note that this update is currently only rolling out to users in China Only. The broader Global rollout will commence soon as per the sources.
