Realme C3 was launched back in Q1 2020 as an entry level offering from Realme in India.The phone was launched in the Sub 10K segment and was powered by the world first mediatek helio G70 processor.Realme C3 was the first phone to ship with their latest software OS Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box.
Even after the launch and being in rhe the entry level smartphones category,Realme team didn’t forgot about this beast.They kept pushing updates to this device promptly even after launching a whole lot of devices after this.
Now realme has pushed out an software update for Realme C3 today via OTA.This update is not just about bugs fixes and system optimisations,along with it also brings the latest August security patch from Google to this device and also introduced some new features alongside.
First of all this update adds the focus mode Switch toggles independently in the notification centre instead of just one single toggle. Secondly the quick settings toggle for the OTG connection is now directly available in the Notification centre which will definitely come in handy.
It also adds some tweaks in the settings such as now you can copy the IMEI information in the settings by long pressing on it and now you have the option to long press kn any app to get the uninstall button in the app drawer itself.(before you had to drag and uninstall it on the homescreen)
Now the most important feature of all is the smooth scrolling feature which is in the beta stage in the Realme Labs but this enables the scrolling in the apps which have the infinite scroll to load much faster and give a feeling close to the high refresh rate displays.
There is more to this update but I have only included the points which were important to me.There are bunch of new features too such as super night-time standby etc,you can find the updates in the changelog given below in this post.
The update has started rolling out with the version RMX2020_11.A.41 in India and it is released in the similar array of rolling out in batches.The update will be rolled out to handful of users and if no bugs are found in 2,3 days then the wider rollout will commence within this week.

Realme C3 was a nice and substantial upgrade over Realme C2 which was launched in 2019.Powered by mediatek helio G70 processor and a HD+ big display.The back housed a dual camera setup and holds a massive battery to last all day.
This software update will also be available to download manually on their official website.
