Google released the Android 11 BETA 1 for the Pixel models yesterday after delaying 1 week due to the Black lives matter protests in America. Now after Google released the beta, Many other OEMs also announced their respective devices which are supported for Android 11 program and can be used to flash the Beta Rom to test the Android 11. There are also many issues in the Rom but it is Beta 1 and it will surely be eradicated in the stable build.
Oppo and Xiaomi already announced their devices which will get the Update to test the build. Oneplus announced today that the Beta 1 of Android 11 is now available to download for their latest OnePlus 8 series. But the good thing is that this will not be the stock Rom which will be used on pixel phones, instead, this Build will have the Oxygen OS on top of ANDROID 11, So that’s a good thing. This will be released for the developer preview program which will help developers to start early to improving the quality and apps for the next android version in Advance.
Oneplus said that this is for developers and advanced users only So don’t flash this on your regular daily driver. It has a lot of bugs and it is also very unstable due to early access.
The company itself issued the warning that flashing this ROM will have uncertain effects if not done with proper care. You can also brick the device if not followed the instructions too.
