Samsung’s software update game continues to grow and puts other brands and OEMs to consider their software update rollout strategies. In addition to updating many of its flagships to Android 11 and One UI 3.0 before 2020, Samsung has also managed to update one of its affordable mid-range phones to the latest version of Android and its custom skin(One UI 3.0) i.e.Samsung Galaxy M31. And now, it’s adding one more mid-ranger to this list.
The Samsung Galaxy F41 was launched earlier in 2020 as just a Samsung M31 with one less camera. This could be because of this reason that the Galaxy F41 is now receiving Android 11 with One UI 3.0 in India. This update is also packed with the latest 1 January 2021 security patch which is quite impressive.
The update comes with firmware version F415FXXU1BUAC in India. However, if you own a Galaxy F41, it’s best to first attempt updating over the air(OTA) from the device itself. Do not attempt to download it from any untrusted site.
- Open the phone’s Settings app,
- Select Software Update
- Tap Download and install.
The OTA updates are not released for all the users at once so if you have not received the update yet then you should wait for a day or two then you will receive it hopefully.
Do comment below did you received the update or not and if you downloaded it then tell us how was your experience and if it had any bugs in it.
