Oneplus nailed the pricing of Oneplus 8 series in India.Starts at 41999INR

OnePlus 8 pro

OnePlus launched its Oneplus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro a couple of days ago simultaneously in U.S,India and China.

The price of the global variant of it in U.S was $999 for the 12gb variant of 8 pro.

A quick recap of 8 pro:
PROCESSOR:-SD865 With Integrated 5g modem. So no going down in terms of performance.
DISPLAY:-6.78 inches  120Hz super amoled panel with curve edges and a touch response rate of 240Hz. It’s display is given  an A+rating by display mate and its inarguably one of the best diplays ever used in a smartphone.
It has now aa 4510mAH battery with 30w wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging which is pretty amazing.
BODY:-Its still the metal and glass sandwich design but this time OnePlus has gone with a matte texture finish which makes it look cool and also we can have a firm grip and very less fingerprint. It has now IP68 water and dust resistance which was missing in the previous generation.
Camera:- It has now a custom built Sony Imx689 48mp primary sensor which is  great upgrade from the previous model. And interestingly it has now the sony IMX 586 48mp sensor as the ultrawide.A telephoto and light sensor camera is included in the Quad camera setup.
OS:- OnePlus 8 pro is powered by Oxygen OS 10 based on android 10 and Its the most clean and customisable android skin and is most preferred OS by the masses.
Overall this phone looks great on paper and This time OnePlus upped the game by a huge margin. They added all the missing features which maked a flagship phone a flagship.
Great camera,IP68 water resistant, and the wireless charging in fact a fast wireless charging.
So let’s talk about the prices in India.
OnePlus had assured the fans that Indian prices will not be equivalent to the U.S pricing.
Instead of the US equivalent of 76k INR they launched the OnePlus 8 pro at
8gb +128gb:-54999INR
Although the price is still higher but the specs OnePlus is offering are great and it will be one of the most remarkable phone of the year 2020.As all the smartphones in India got the price Hike of around 3-4k on smartphones above 30k.So in my opinion its a great win for users because having such a flagship phone at this price point is completely worth it.
OnePlus 8 is more of a slight upgrade to OnePlus 7 pro.
It has the SD865 with integrated 5G.
Display is still 90Hz super amoled display.
Battery capacity is around 4300mAH with the 30W wired charge and no wireless charging.
Camera is the same Sony Imx 586 48mp camera from the OnePlus 7 series.
In terms of body designing it is now available in an amazing interstellar glow colour variant.
Overall its also a great device.
OnePlus 8 is priced at
Its is nice to see that OnePlus has reduced the pricing in India.
